We provide independent case evaluations and clinical consulting services for attorneys, agencies, and individuals seeking a professional mental health perspective on a legal, administrative, or personal matter.

Unlike a full forensic evaluation, a case evaluation is a focused review of available records, allegations, clinical information, and relevant circumstances to identify strengths, weaknesses, risks, mitigating factors, and potential areas for further investigation. These consultations can assist attorneys with case strategy, help individuals understand the psychological issues involved in their case, and identify whether a more comprehensive forensic evaluation may be warranted.

Case evaluations may be helpful in matters involving:

  • Child custody and parenting disputes

  • Criminal mitigation and sentencing

  • Domestic violence allegations

  • Stalking and harassment cases

  • Juvenile delinquency matters

  • Psychosexual concerns

  • Mental health disability claims

  • Immigration hardship cases

Services may include record review, consultation meetings, written summaries, recommendations for additional assessment, identification of psychological issues, and preparation for mediation, litigation, or administrative proceedings.

GFC's case evaluations are conducted by experienced forensic mental health professionals and are designed to provide practical, objective, and clinically informed feedback tailored to the needs of each case.

Fee Schedule

Initial Case Consultation

  • Up to 30 Minutes: $125

  • Up to 60 Minutes: $250

Clinical Case Review & Consulting

  • Record Review: $250 per hour

  • Clinical Consultation: $250 per hour

  • Attorney Consultation: $250 per hour

  • Strategy Meetings: $250 per hour

Written Products

  • Brief Case Summary Letter (1–3 pages): $500

  • Comprehensive Case Review Memorandum (4–10 pages): $1,250

  • Complex Case Analysis Memorandum (10+ pages): Starting at $2,500

Court & Legal Proceedings

  • Deposition Preparation: $250 per hour

  • Expert Consultation During Trial: $250 per hour

  • Court Testimony: $250 per hour (2-hour minimum)

  • Full-Day Court Reservation: $2,000 per day

Retainers

  • Standard Attorney Retainer (10 Hours): $2,000

  • Complex Litigation Retainer: Custom Quote

Expedited Services

  • Rush Review (3–5 Business Days): Additional $250

  • Emergency Review (24–48 Hours): Additional $500
