Family Law and Child Custody Services

Family law is one of the primary areas where we provide expert involvement, offering comprehensive evaluations and support to assist courts and families in making informed decisions that serve the best interests of the child.

Child Custody Evaluations:
As neutral and objective third-party professionals, our evaluators are specially trained to assess family dynamics and develop informed recommendations regarding child custody and care arrangements. These evaluations involve in-depth interviews with parents, extended family members, family friends, medical providers, therapists, teachers, and others familiar with the child’s environment. The goal is to gain a complete understanding of the family system to guide custody decisions. Evaluators provide detailed reports and expert testimony in court when necessary.

Parenting Plan Services:
We offer a full range of parenting plan services, including:

  • Initial parenting plan creation tailored to meet the unique needs of each family

  • Parenting plan assessments to review and evaluate existing arrangements

  • Parenting plan modifications when changes are required due to evolving family circumstances

  • Support for resolving co-parenting disagreements through counseling aimed at improving communication and cooperation

Trauma Evaluation and Psychopathology Insight:
Our evaluations also include assessing any trauma experienced by the child or family members. Additionally, we provide expert analysis of parental psychopathology—examining mental health issues or personality disorders that may impact parenting capacity and family functioning. We explain the potential implications of such psychopathology on child safety, emotional well-being, and overall family dynamics, helping courts and families understand complex psychological factors that influence custody and parenting decisions.

Anger Management Assessments:
We also offer formal Anger Management Assessments, which can be particularly relevant in custody disputes, co-parenting arrangements, or cases where there are concerns about emotional regulation or allegations of aggressive behavior. These assessments provide the court with an objective evaluation of an individual’s ability to manage anger and stress within the family context and may include tailored recommendations for treatment or intervention, if needed.
